John Tilmon has more than 37 years in the construction
industry with experience in all aspects of construction. Since the start of TDL
Contractors, Inc. in 1986, he has served as President and managing partner. His
commercial construction experience including, but not limited to, office
buildings, churches, shopping centers, parking garages, office/warehouse,
restaurants, storage facilities and city parks gives him a vast knowledge of
different types of construction.
Prior to the inception of TDL Contractors, Inc., he
spent fifteen years at Advance Construction, Inc. He served in several
capacities such as: Project Supervisor, Field & Production Manager,
Estimator/Project Manager, Senior Estimator/Project Manager and Executive Vice
President.
Tilmon is a native of Memphis, TN and has served in
many civic, charitable and trade organizations. He has served as President and
board member of Associated Builders and Contractors, board member of Rotary
Club of Memphis East, Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Baddour
Center, Development Committee of Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary and
Committee member Cordova Retreat & Conference Center
