Working directly with a client and our association of
architects from the conception of the project, design
through construction, TDL Contractors takes full responsibility
for all phases of the project.
By taking responsibility for coordinating all of a projects
activities, TDL Contractors can; eliminate the time
required for bid evaluation and contract awards, while
maintaining the competitive bid process; identify and
purchase long lead items and begin the construction
process before construction documents are completed;
and develop a critical path method schedule during design
to identify critical milestone dates.
After a budget is finalized and the working drawings
are complete, TDL Contractors will secure three or four
sub bids from reputable subcontractors and from three
or four suppliers for each class of material. If there
is a problem staying within the established budget,
TDL Contractors will help the owner with value engineering
analysis to investigate where costs can be reduced.
Through the use of regularly scheduled meetings with
the owner and architect to assist in the selection of
materials and methods, both the initial and long-term
costs can be addressed and controlled.
Tight integration of architectural, engineering and
construction activities is the critical factor in meeting
a project schedule. TDL Contractors offers single source
coordination that results in better quality, lower overall
costs and an end product that is closely allied with
the needs and intentions of all parties.
